🖼️ Can We Have All Games in Our Preferred Area or Time?

Unfortunately, no team will get all of their preferred locations or times every week.

Teams in a division have different preferences, so scheduling is a balance for everyone.

Field availability changes by season — Winter has the highest chance of meeting most preferences (fewer teams play), while Fall is the hardest (youth & adult sports compete for space).

Sometimes preferences line up by chance, but it's never guaranteed.

Waitlist for teams after December 15 team registration close:

If you missed the December 15 team registration close deadline, you can request to be placed on the team waitlist for a non-refundable deposit of $100 by contacting registrar@seattlerats.org.  RATS admin will contact you if your team will be added to the season based on the schedules and field availability. If your team is added for the season, the deposit can be applied toward the team registration fee which will be the season fee plus a late processing and rescheduling fee of $100.  Contact registrar@seattlerats.org if your team wants to be added to the waitlist.

If my manager registers my team and puts me on the roster, do I still need to register as a player?

Yes. Individual player registration is required — all players must be registered  by completing the RATS Waiver Release form.  The team manager registers the team each season, pays the fees and adds you to the team roster.  As a player, you still need to complete the RATS Waiver Release form located on the Player Registration page to be allowed to play.

🪪 Do We Need Player Cards?

No player cards required.

Players should bring a photo ID to every game in case it is requested by the referee for misconducts.

How do I find a team to join if I want to play?

RATS operates at the team level for scheduling each season.  RATS does not place individuals on rosters as each team submits its own roster.  If you are a player looking for a team, check out the Facebook group called Seattle Area Adult Soccer Player/Sub Board.   If you are playing on a RATS team as a sub or player, you need to register using the Player Registration page on the tool bar above.

How do I submit feedback about a referee?

See Referee Information page above.

How do I submit feedback about RATS in general?

Submit information, compliments and complaints to info@seattlerats.org

What if team registration is closed?

Contact the registrar to see what option might be available at registrar@seattlerats.org
Registration opens 1-2 months before the season starts.
