60/40 There are some division trends (listed below) but please remember we cannot guarantee age based divisions or a particular skill level. If there are not enough teams for a particular day we will inform teams so they may make other playing arrangements.
The following division options have lasted more than a year
Sometimes we have enough teams for a particular day but skills and division preferences don't match.
Please indicate if you'd like to be moved to 50/50 for the following reasons (choose all that apply):
Please accurately describe your team. Teams who have many lopsided results in their favor due to skill misrepresentation may be moved to tougher divisions and be rescheduled.
Also note some days of play are not available for very high or low skilled teams. Check the FAQs page to see when divisions are offered so you can recruit accordingly.
If you fail to follow these rules, you will lose two games and be moved to the open division.
Any Over-30 division will be created if there is enough interest.
An Over-30 team will be placed in Open if there is not enough interest in Over-30 for their day of play or skill level.
We don't have an established an Over 40 division yet, nor have we determined age eligibility (i.e., how many U40 players will be allowed). If over half your team is Over 40 you may indicate your team is eligible and would like to play in an O40 league. If there are enough teams on your day of play we may create an informal Over 40 division.
Currently Thursday has as informal O40 division.
You indicated your team's skill level is D4. D4 is still a division we are trying to create, so it will be mixed with D3 teams
You indicated your team's skill level is D3.
If you are an Over 30 team, choose Tuesday to play O30
You indicated your team's skill level is a higher skilled D3 or lower skilled D2.
D3 Men's is available on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
D2 Men's is available on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Most teams that indicate this skill level play Mondays or Tuesdays
You indicated your team's skill level is D2.
D4 is only available on Wednesday. D4 is for teams that are roughly 80% beginning level players and not for new teams of skilled or mix skilled players (D3 is a better start). If you are a D4 team that cannot play on Wednesday, please go back and choose D3 for your skill level.
There typically aren't enough D4 teams for its own division and it is usually mixed with D3
Lower division teams' preference for parity over variety is weighted heavier than upper division teams' preference for variety, since they are almost always on the losing end of the lopsidedness.
As mentioned above fewer teams play in winter, and both 50/50 and 60/40 coed divisions shrink.
Would your team prefer playing some 60/40 coed matches against teams of a similar skill level (if available), or 50/50 only
Please note in 60/40 matches the minimum for any one gender (usually women) on the field, and minus the keeper, is 4 for all teams, regardless if your team is 50/50. Additionally teams can play 50/50 at any in the match
We do our best to accommodate preferences, but we are limited by many variables, including field availability, opponent preferences, bye scheduling, and other restrictions.
Please note that in fall there are fewer Seattle field slots
You must choose at least one area but may choose more. Locations are not guaranteed. Game locations are based on a number of factors, including field supply, opponent field preference, and time preferences.
Please note that in fall there are fewer early game slots
Because the majority of games start at 8 or later in the fall we consider 8:15pm start times as early, but 8:30pm as late.
Please note that in fall there are fewer morning game slots
You may choose more than one.
We cannot guarantee any bye date but will do our best to accommodate your request.
There are NO GAMES Wednesday November 27 - Sunday Decmeber 1 (Thanksgiving Weekend) )
There ARE GAMES Thursday October 31 (Halloween) and Monday November 25 - Tuesday November 26 (Thanksgiving exodus week). Please request them off if your team can't play.
Games will be scheduled on July 7. However we understand its proximity to July 4, may make it hard for you to have a full team, So we will only use July 7 if scheduling challenges require it.
Without using up a requested bye, you may decline a July 7 game here.
If your team would be willing to play some Friday games to ease up field use on your current night we will refund your team $100 per Friday game, up to $200 ONCE your team has played those games. If your team forfeits it will not be refunded
I understand that my registration is not complete and my team will not be scheduled until my team has paid in full.
I understand that Seattle RATS does not guarantee any night, time, field, bye, or other preference.
I understand that playing in Seattle RATS is at the player's risk, and that players must be registered members of USSSA soccer in order to play.
Refund Policy$50 of your deposit or payment is non-refundable as an administrative fee. We cannot make full refunds after registration closes as fields and refs are reserved in advance.
